Job title: Programme Delivery Director, Metrolinx (Toronto Canada)

Loxwood Moore was contracted to hire the Programme Delivery Director for one of the world’s largest railway investment projects. This was a global search that took Loxwood Moore and its Consultants into every corner of the world in pursuit of both mobile and highly experienced talent.

With a value approaching USD $23 billion, the Metrolinx RER Program (Regional Express Rail) will transform the Go Rail Network and become the backbone of regional rapid transit in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. This programme will increase capacity and reduce travel times for Canada’s most populous and fastest growing city.

This was a strategic leadership appointment where the job holder would affect client decision making through consultancy, advice and the creation of value propositions for this major infrastructure investment. Stakeholder influence, both internally and externally, will be key to the success of the role holder as will harmonising and advancing the project controls capability of Metrolinx. This is a flagship project and will be the envy of many cities around the globe.

In addition to securing the lead appointment, Loxwood Moore identified several additional Programme Managers who the client also employed.
